FAQ
Collections in EZ360PM are the workflows you use to reduce outstanding receivables: consistent invoicing, follow-ups, statements, and credit hygiene.
Recommended workflow
- Keep invoice status accurate: Draft → Sent → Paid (or Partially paid). Avoid leaving invoices in Draft after sending externally.
- Use A/R Aging weekly: prioritize the oldest balances and high-dollar accounts.
- Send statements: summarize open invoices for a client and confirm payment method / timing.
- Apply credits: if a client has credit, apply it before chasing payment for a balance that can be reduced internally.
Practical tips
- Keep contact info complete (billing email/phone) on the Client record.
- Standardize invoice numbers so clients can reference them easily.
- Avoid "surprise" invoices: invoice at consistent intervals (weekly/biweekly/monthly) for service work.
